Inside Reset (Chapter 8): Shifting our perspectives from outside influences to resetting our inside…through the lens of GOD’s good perspective about you. God made you and loves you. He wants to continue to show you how He lovingly sees you as you truly are rather than the range of ways we experience others’ thoughts about us.
 
James 1: 5-6 ~ “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”
 
James 4: 7-8 ~ “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you…”
 
John 14:16-18  ~ “I [Jesus] will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

As we travel this journey toward God, we are sharing brief stories within each chapter titled Love of the Savior. These are true events, and the words Jesus speaks are directly from the Bible (ESV). The scenes are expanded to give us a sense of what it was like for the individuals experiencing the love and compassion of God with biblical references to the places in the Bible where the story and Jesus’ words can be found.

#31 ~ Remembering Jesus
Blessings for Christmas and beyond. May we ponder the blessings of Christmas, may we ask Jesus what honoring Him looks? What gift can we bring to You, Jesus? As we look and experience rejoicing and celebrating the goodness of God, family and friends, may we also wonder what that can be.
 
— Isaiah 9:6-7: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” (emphasis added)

Prayer Place ~ GRATITUDE: 
During this time of tumult upon this earth, let us pray with a heart of GRATITUDE for GOD, what He is doing and what He will do for His good plans upon the earth. 
*Psalm 37:3 ~ “Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.”
*Psalm 37:1-7 ~ “Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
