* Luke 2:9-10, 13-14, 20 “And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people…And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men’…And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.”

* Lamentations 3:21-24 “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in Him.’”

* Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy…”

* Colossians 1:16-17, 19-20 “For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together…. For in Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things…”
