Inside Reset (Chapter 8): Shifting our perspectives from outside influences to resetting our inside…through the lens of GOD’s good perspective about you. God made you and loves you. He wants to continue to show you how He lovingly sees you as you truly are rather than the range of ways we experience others’ thoughts about us.
James 1: 5-6 ~ “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”
James 4: 7-8 ~ “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you…”
John 14:16-18 ~ “I [Jesus] will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. Love of the Savior Stories: Woman in Synagogue on the Sabbath
(Luke 13:10-17)
As we travel this journey toward God, we are sharing brief stories within each chapter titled Love of the Savior. These are true events, and the words Jesus speaks are directly from the Bible (ESV). The scenes are expanded to give us a sense of what it was like for the individuals experiencing the love and compassion of God with biblical references to the places in the Bible where the story and Jesus’ words can be found.
